Who I am
Daniele Giovino, aka “Dan”, was born in Rome in November 1980. Music was at the center of his entire childhood, since he was 5 years old he took part in street parties throughout Rome and Lazio with his father who toured Italy with the greatest in music, from Renato Zero to Loredana Bertè, from Pupo to Mia Martini, from Marco Armani to Patty Pravo.
Daniele grew up with music in his blood. At just 13 years old he made his debut in Rome at the Teatro delle Vittorie, in “Una voce per l’inverno” with Ballo di Simone, where he qualified for the final, and in “Una voce per l’estate”, where he won with “Perdere l’amore” by Massimo Ranieri.
At 14 years old he took part in another competition “Voci nuove”, where he ranked second with the song “Azzurro” by Adriano Celentano. These are the years in which Daniele brings out the best in himself, with evenings with 1000 spectators and this allows him to overcome that shyness that everyone has when they step onto a stage for the first time.
In 1996 he debuted with Rocky Roberts and came second with “Tanta voglia di lei”.
In 2000 he made his TV debut in one of the episodes of Gianni Morandi's program “Uno di noi”, alongside Adriano Celentano and is part of his clan, for the promotion of the album “L’emozione non ha voce”, released in that year. In fact, Dan is very attached to this song, he proposes it again in his evenings and never leaves it out of his vast repertoire.
In 2002 he began the first of many summer tours around Italy, from Cortina D'Ampezzo to Corvara in Badia, from Courmayeur to tourist villages, passing from Trentino to Val D'Aosta, touching seaside destinations such as Puglia, Calabria and the entire Amalfi coast.
During these musical seasons Dan is a singer, musician and DJ and perfects his techniques as an entertainer, he perfects himself in cabaret and imitations of famous singers, from Renato Zero to Eros Ramazzotti, from Celentano to Tozzi, from Vasco to Ligabue, from Jovanotti to Morandi, etc.
In 2005 he finds himself in Rome and tours many clubs and discos, thus managing to bring his talent also to the Villas and restaurants of Lazio and the province where he performs in serenades, weddings, birthdays and parties of all kinds.
He began to specialize in the field of weddings and thanks to his versatility in transforming himself from a singer to a DJ, from a musician to an entertainer, from an impersonator to an entertainer, today he is in great demand throughout Lazio.
In 2000 he began his career as a singer-songwriter and between 2000 and 2003 he wrote, together with his traveling companion Marco, the songs "Volo", "Occhi negli Occhi", "Maledetta timidezza", "Quello che cerco" and many others.
Since 2004 he began to discover the world of events and more specifically Weddings where he is the protagonist in all the events he performs, up to the present day where he is highly requested by all the spouses and not only by them.
